The Maxsurf suite of programs fall into three basic categories that follow our work-flow
from DESIGN through ANALYSIS to PRODUCTION

Maxsurf Resistance

Maxsurf Resistance (previously called Hullspeed) directly opens a Maxsurf model, and lets you estimate the resistance and power requirements for any Maxsurf design.  A range of industry standard resistance prediction algorithms are included, allowing selection of the appropriate methods for the hull type being considered, whether power or sail. 

The wave spectrum can be calculated and rendered as shown above.  The results can be exported as tabular data, or plotted to a graph as below.

Other Resistance Analysis Modules
